KGV, Hood, Warspite, et cetera are over-represented in plastic models (1:350 scale). Plenty of them so it would be fantastic to have the exalted HMS Vanguard in 1:200.

Surely a 1/200 HMS Vanguard plastic kit would be very attractve.  Nevertheless, the battleship itself was completed too late and saw little (if any) action during her life.  Lacking a colourful career and fame (in the Chinese-speaking world), it's doubtful if Trumpy will ever consider releaving a plastic kit of her...

Juravenator, I have to agree with that. An interesting ship, she saw no action and therefore has no glory to her name. It is also heartbreaking that the Royal Navy didn't keep her and modernize her like the US did with the Iowa class. Maybe she could have fought in the Falklands War. So I modify my original statement: I would prefer King Georg V-class (HMS King George V, HMS Prince of Wales, HMS Duke of York, HMS Howe and HMS Anson) Nelson-class (although I think they are ugly ), Queen Elizabeth-class as well as HMS Hood. I like all ships that saw action.

It is good enough that HMS Vanguard got a little recognition as a possible 1/200 Trumpeter model.

Harquebus, HMS Vanguard was without doubt a very handsome ship. Nevertheless, the most possible battleship kit next to come from Trumpy in 1/200 scale might be HMS Hood.  In any case, we shall thank Trumpy for expanding its 1/200 lineup.

HMS Hood is a good choice. It would be interesting to see a 1/200 IJN Kirishima or a USS Washington, "the only American battleship to sink an enemy battleship during World War II in a "one on one" surface engagement."

Perhaps Trumpeter will produce something besides battleships such as WWII cruisers and destroyers...
