Propellers for Plastic Model Conversions

Greetings. I have viewed many ships on Rosenfans--your collective 'claim to fame' is the plastic model conversion to R/C (radio control). With that in mind, what is the most popular option for propellers when a Rosenfan member is building a model conversion--do you prefer the kit propellers or an 'aftermarket' propeller in durable/flexible plastic or brass? ? ? For long term use, the plastic props in the kit may fail prematurely from breakage, accidental handling or may hit an underwater obstruction and break a blade, and so forth, so a metal propeller would seem very desirable.

Also: if aftermarket or from an independent seller, from whom or where do you obtain these propellers?

We can buy different sizes and various types of brass propellers from the model shops in main land China or England.

What shop do you use the most? I thought you might recommend a few model shops on the main land or in HK or more precisely in Taobao. Would you recommend this one:

Yes we bulk purchase from this taobao shop.

Tomtso: That is good news. That is the only shop with model ship fittings I have yet found on Taobao.

二分七: Thank you for the G-Factor review on Baidu. I did not know the props come attached to a sprue (or tree). Do you know diameter of G-Factor Nagato props and the size of the bore/hole?

That looks like a good shop; Yao Yao Harbor. Good PE for 1/200 scale--railings and ladders. Want to see more propellers and rudders there too. Thanks for the information, Tomtso.

Also: I did purchase the 1:350 Iowa propellers and a pair of 2MM x 2MM spring shaft couplers. Good product, fast shipping and fair price.
