I was confused by the hull number 116. Are you saying this model is a conversion of Trumpeter '167' Shenzen / 深圳 , the Type 051B into Type 051C ?? Only the older Trumpeter 1/200 ships have the motorization option--the 'new tooling' 051C dispenses with motorization in pursuit of better scale accuracy I think. But this is confusing. Also, we must be very careful with designation types as 051 is the completely different Luda class!  Just add letters (B, C et al) to 051 to make completely different vessel classes!
Do the differences between the 051C and the older 051B concern the Russian air defence system only or are there other structural differences? What did the builder change?
