I love the 1:125 Lindberg Minesweepers. Those are fun to watch and a favorite kit of mine. I have one still in the box waiting to be built but it is nice that you fellows prove that the Minesweeper makes a good rough water boat. Did not know they were available in your area. Are they powered by one propeller or two?

Hello Harquebus, Rosenfans boatmates are productive model boat makers. Don't keep your 1:125 Lindberg mine-sweeper sleeping in the box, build it radio-controlled and post it on Rosenfans. Hong Kong is a famous duty-free shopping centre and many different brands of model boats are available in the market.
Are there enthusiastic boatmates in South Korea ? We go boating nearly on every Saturday, a lot of fun.

Not as many as HK I think. There is a fellow with an RC blog but I am not successful in contacting him. Nice HMS Vanguard. That is a very rare kit but a handsome warship.

Both 299 are running with two shafts!

That is good news--the original ship has two shafts...and two rudders!

Hello Harquebus, that is not HMS Vanguard, it is HMS Tribal Class destroyer Cossack, 1:96, Deans Marine, 47 inches. (1 inch = 2.54 cm)
Of course the bulwark number should be L03, not 715, haha.

The 1:350 Cossack can easily be bought in Hong Kong, 13 inches long, but Hong Kong boatmates can build it R/C and sailing well on calm water, unbelievable !!!

No David, I mean picture #11 from the top of the thread. A battleship that is painted blue/white/green with 4 turrets and two smoke stacks (funnels). But Dean's Marine..no doubt is the source for the destroyer. Too big for my personal interests but very nice. To the anonymous builder/operator of Cossack, I toast a shot of Soju to your fine work.
