1/16 Heng Lun Tank
Hi all, any good with 1/16 Heng Lun tanks ? Just got a King Tiger from Sam Shui Po, anything to watch out for? Also the 1/18 4 wheel drive RC car, claimed can go up to 50km/hr .... much much thks ... Paul welcome to join us in Heng Long tank division.the most important component is the steel gear box. If you can turn the tracks forward and backwards without much effort then most likely you've got a steel gear box inside. Seemingly yes, turning back and forth at ease ... 嘩...孟加拉虎(Konigstiger)~~~ Any tank mates have issue with th metallic chain? Mine seems to break apart after 10 mins of exercise ... the steel rod joining the chain seems to run off ... any advise on what needs to be done? For now, I have put some AA glue to affected area. the joint pins do come off at times but only after running for many hours before it happened. In fact, the newer releases (ever since the KV1) improves quite a lot. A tiny drop of CA applied on one end fixes that.
Do come and join us in the next gathering in TKO open field. It is a very nice place for R/C tanks.
Noted with thks Pang, will join you guys when free ... Just ask from one of the provider to replace the FM controller to 2.4G, that FM unit really sucks, not more than 15 feet :@ HL's 2.4G is a big improvement. In fact, in the R/C realm, all the most expensive traditional radio can never match a cheap toy grade 2.4G in performance nowadays.
It is pity to see some boat mates have build their model very very beautiful but with a length of wire hanging as an antenna.. :lol
